Human Right Self Defense

Dear Fellow American –

I’m trying to be clear.

The 2nd Amendment protects our Human Right Self Defense.

Picture your daughter raped and murdered, If she had a firearm, she could have defended her self.

Please end the hoplophobia, aka aversion to weapons.

Please share. Please don’t let them suppress this or suppress you.

For additional language support you may visit HERE

Self as in person.  We were made by God in his image and he’s not pleased that we cannot defend ourselves. We are temporal beings to whom he gave that right to us which is protected within the Bill of Rights.

This is very important. It’s a Human Right like Freedom of Expression and Freedom of Religion. Apathy and Oath breaking are evil. As American people we are entitled to defend ourselves. Need to add this to school curriculum etc. It is why it is number two. We do have this right to defend our selves against rapists and murders. Evil still exists in the world. We are Americans not sheep. We don’t do kings anymore. Please take pride in your heritage as an American.

Self Defense can be a affectation like cycling or high power rocketry. It also shows you care enough of yourself to wish to defend yourself and your fellow humans from evil.

Please help save lives.

Would you please escalate this to Congress?

Thank you, and God Bless America, please.

Info about our (USA) Human Right Self Defense

We are all human beings
The United States is one nation under God.

Picture your daughter raped and murdered. With a firearm she could have defended her self. Rape and murder are violation of natural law. They are a self violation.

Please don’t let the supress this. It is a human right and we are all human.

Administratively, the human right self defense protected by our 2nd Amendment must be administered at the Federal level.  Please note first that we are mortal humans. We don’t do kings in the USA. As mortal humans, God has given us the right to defend our selves from being murdered or raped. The  2nd Amendment protects that right self defense. We are Americans, not Sheep.

Please read on and please withhold criticism until finished. To Err is human, to forgive divine – Alexander Pope.

The police are not there to defend your granddaughter.  They are there to enforce the law. You are responsible for your own defense. They will put bodies in bags and collect an evidence kit.

Please share with the Oath Breakers, especially in DC.

Most States and even our federal government have bureaucrats who are ignorant of our rights. Ignorance is a curable illness. Please don’t take offense. God does love you. Please take pride in your American heritage.

Every natural person in the United States does have a right to defend themselves from rape or murder.

Please read at least the 1st 4 for your edification, and thank you:

And, thank you for your time!

Recently, a woman traveling between States with her handgun was arrested and convicted for transporting her handgun into the state. I would not like this to happen again to someone’s grandchild.  Can we get this corrected quickly?

Please think of your grandchildren. We don’t want them to be unable to defend themselves from evil. I would like my granddaughter to be able to defend herself. Hopefully we can fix this so that more grandchildren will be able to defend themselves against evil.

I am hopeful that folks find this blog educational and will feel free to take the essays and share them.

We are all human beings, and our founding fathers protected our human right of self defense in the 2A.

Would you please educate your representatives  and Senators to fix this quickly and help save lives.

Thank you,

Adam Selene

Primer on Natural law

This is an essay on natural law, a work in process with comments on the natural right of self defense.

We humans mostly were born, grew up, reproduced, and died on farms or hunter gathering over a most of the past 12000 years. We were very familiar with the laws of nature were we understood them at the time. There has certainly been quite an evolution in science particularly in the Western world since the 12th century.

What still stands are some facts. Generally we understand them so well we don’t think of it. Our founding fathers and most intelligent people into the 19th century did think of it as they were exposed to nature daily.

We are born
We mature
We engender children
We grow old
We die.

In an agricultural society people didn’t usually travel much. Most people lived and died in the same village.

In nature, a predator might attack a lesser animal to eat for food.
As humans, we are they only animal that generally attacks it own kind for some reason or another. We have the natural right of self defense against an attacking predator be it a lion or a fellow human. That right is provided by God. The 2nd Amendment of the US Constitution protects that right.

For instance, God does not expect us to go “Oh, poor wolf, let me bear my neck so he may feed on me” or “Oh, here’s a small baby you can eat”. That goes for the 4 legged or 2 legged kind of wolf. The right to keep and bear arms is a natural right protected by the 2nd Amendment.

For instance if you were a young mother with babies surrounded by rabid wolves, you would fight to the death to save your young. Similarly, if you are an office worker surrounded by a gang of MS-13 members intent on tormenting you and likely kill you, you are entitled to fight to the death. Yours or theirs until you are safe. If the good guys/gals were armed, it’s more likely to go in their favor.

Only recently have bureaucrats insinuated themselves into this right.

Of course, violence is very unlikely to happen to you, until it does. Then it’s an emergency.

More on SupraNatural Law

We were created by God, in some thinking we are smart animals though, enough to dig our own hole.

As a species our goal is to get to Milliways, the One and Only Restaurant at the End of the Universe😉 With some fortune and good thinking our distant offspring may make it.

As animals with a Soul, our goal is to make it to Heaven. Your opinion may differ. Good fortune with that.

There is Good and Evil in the Universe.

It’s Evil to Break God’s laws aka the 10 Commandments. It is also evil to take an oath and then not honor it.

God’s Son aka the Carpenter from Nazareth gave an additional rule – The Golden Rule. Some other cultures developed it also.  The Jewish People have Halakha and others still have more.

God gave us the Right of Human Self Defense so that we would not be defenseless against other creatures including each other. God wants us to defend our selves. We were made by him in his image. He values our lives as his greatest creation. He also does not approve of us playing roulette with our or each others lives.

Our public servants largely lack character. They don’t honor their oath of office. They pass laws that infringe on our rights. These laws will impact us, our children, and our grandchildren.

For example, picture your daughter is unable to carry a firearm due to some inane reason mandated by oath breaking public servants. Leaving a library late one night, she is attacked, raped and murdered. If she had a firearm and training, she may have survived. This may take place in fifty years or it could take place to someones daughter or great grandson tonight. It could happen to you. And much worse could happen at any time. I’m not saying you have to carry a firearm, but if you are inclined to, our founding fathers said the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed and they meant it. God has given you the right to protect yourself, and I am certain that your mother would want you to defend yourself. See Corollaries.

Please urge your public servants to keep their oath of office and help save lives.

Thank you,

Bernardo de la Paz

It has come to my attention that some people object to the reference to God. I think that’s silly, but I believe our mothers would want us to defend ourselves. I think most mothers are saints, anyways.

Also some folks I’ve spoke  with quote – ‘turn the other cheek; or ‘live by the sword, die by the sword’. Well you are going to die anyway – how may differ – at the hands of a violent psychopath with a gun, knife or broken bottle, or naturally from natural causes. As to turn the other cheek – I presume you don’t want your daughter to do that with a rapist. We are all human, with all that entails. Let’s fix this before too many more grandchildren die. God Bless America, please.

Dear American

Dear American –
Would you like your grandchildren killed by violent criminals because they couldn’t defend themselves? The 2nd Amendment is intended to protect our right to keep and carry arms so that we may defend ourselves. The Bill of Rights is based on Natural Law, ‘the right of self defense.’ Bad guys will always have guns, knives, shod feed. The police will come afterwards to investigate and arrest the miscreant. Armed people dissuade violent activities. And limiting which guns you may purchase doesn’t do anything for the criminals. It’s just a backdoor way to disarm you and the grandchildren.

Would you like your grandchildren to compete for jobs against the grandchildren of undocumented immigrants ? Then fix the immigration problem. We need lawful documented immigrants at a reasonable pace.

Do you want your grandchildren and our veterans to be unemployed or underemployed even with a good education as their jobs are taken by foreigners here in this country on H1B Visas ? Get rid of the H1B Visas.

Do you want our nation to be in an almost constant state of War with foreign entities? There are alternatives. One is called diplomacy.

Do you want your grandchildren to bankrupt themselves paying for highways, automobiles, gasoline and taxes. There are alternatives for many future Americans if we have the will to do it and get some imaginative urban planning and transit University departments involved.

Do you want your grandchildren and other young adults to be placed in prison for a mistake? There are more then 10,000 laws on the books which anyone could break by accident. A prison term can make a person almost unemployable. We are all temporal humans and need to fix the mess we have made of criminal justice.

We are all human beings and grandchildren. Life is short and precious. Please direct your legislators and other public servants accordingly.

God Bless America and Thank you for your help. It’s for our grandchildren’s sake.

Why we have the 2nd Amendment and why we must keep it

We have the Bill of Rights, the first 10 amendments to the US Constitution as our founding fathers found those natural rights ( natural rights) under attack by their own government. At the time, that Government was that of King George of England and the Houses of Parliament.

Regarding, the second amendment, which reads:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

A nation must have an army to protect is border and people from intrusion.  A militia is a group of persons organized for the defense of their community. We are all people.

Please note that the separate clause, The Right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

This goes back to April 19, 1775 when the most powerful army in the world marched to Lexington and Concord Massachusetts to capture the stores of powder held there.

As you may learn at an Appleseed, or find out yourself by reading the recollections of those who where there, which are now freely available on Project Gutenberg, that the English Army, upon arriving in Lexington found a crowd who they told to disperse. The crowd turned to disperse, but a shot rang out, into the back of a patriot that was returning to his house. That patriot died in his wife’s arms.

We are a nation of Riflemen. On proceeding onto Concord and returning to Lexington and Boston, the British Red Coats had their clocks cleaned. Patriots with rifled muskets were very successful at taking out the officers from 200 yards and more.

The surviving British Army returned raggedly to Boston.

Public servants who don’t honor our right to keep and bear arms do a disservice to the memories of those patriots who fought for freedom and obtained it for us, at the cost of their lives and sacred honor.

Our forefathers experienced what it is like for a government to go bad. They may have had the foresight to want to allow us to protect ourselves. We have that lesson from history and more lessons since then. Look at the

Armenian Genocide
Holocaust
the Internment of Japanese Americans during World War 2
Pol-Pot and the Khmer Rouge
the Cultural Revolution
The Kent State Massacre.

“Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Sir Winston Churchill

I think of Dr. Joseph Warren, who was bayoneted by his own countrymen until unrecognizable. I hope our children don’t have to die up to their knees in blood, but as Thomas Jefferson wrote – The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. It is it’s natural manure.

On how our founding fathers came up with our government, they were familiar with authors such as Jean-Jacques Rousseau and his book The Social Contract. We would all do well to become familiar with these facts.

And if you weren’t aware of it already, you aren’t going to be on this earth forever, so teach your children well. They or their children might have oath breaking public servants to deal with also.

Our public servants largely lack character. They don’t honor their oath of office. They pass laws that infringe on our rights. These laws will impact us, our children, and our grandchildren.

The  2A protects our Human Right Self Defense.

For example, picture it’s your daughter is unable to carry a firearm due to some inane reason mandated by oath breaking public servants. Leaving a library late one night, she is attacked, raped and murdered. If she had a firearm and training, she may have survived. This may take place in 50 years or it could take place to someones great granddaughter or great grandson tonight.

If you don’t understand what I’m saying, you may ask the honorable Suzanna Hupp. Her parents were murdered along with 21 other people at Luby’s restaurant

Politicians are our servants. They are not our king. We don’t do kings in our Republic by the people for the people.

Please ask your public servants to honor their oath of office. It’s in our grandchildrens best interest. Thank you.

Natural Law & Human Rights

During my education in 1970’s I learned about the sources our founding fathers used to formulate the Government we have now.  This includes information about Natural Law.

Public servants such as Sheriffs and Legislators are certainly to be honored for serving us, but when they overstep their bounds, they become ‘tyrants’.  By letting them get away with it, we are guilty of at least inattention and perhaps some kind of sin, but I’ll have to look for that unless someone offers it up.

As Thomas Jefferson said “The tree of liberty must from time to time be refreshed with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure

As Walt Kelly said “We have met the enemy and, he is us.”

Human Rights (may be incomplete)

Some interesting developments in recent times include the ‘Personhood’ of Corporations.

I am very concerned, and you might wish to be concerned also that our public servants not understanding why we have our Bill of Rights and lacking the Character to keep their oath of office will lead to violent actions which will destabilize our Nation and leave an opening for actions by ‘bad actors’ that will lead to the unfortunate loss of human life and a drastic and massive death resulting ‘societal phase change’ (e.g. War)  in our nation.

Our politicians and other public servants should read Les Miserables, Summa Theologica,, and  motivation of infractions should make a difference and due process should always apply.

Richard Maybury has written up about the difference between what he calls Scientific Law and Political Law.

God Bless America.

Golden Rule

Letter to the Editor and all Americans

Our Public Servants and legislators seem to be mostly interested in enriching themselves and being reelected. They make poor laws that cause people to be charged with crimes even when the people had no intent to break a law.

I suggest we should remind them of the Golden Rule, and remind them that the laws they make may apply to their grandchildren. Everyone who has been and will be are grandchildren. We should make law and enforce law as we would want it applied to our grandchildren.

The Golden Rule or ethic of reciprocity is a maxim, ethical code or morality that essentially states: One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.

If they consider their grandchildren when making and enforcing law, we may be hopeful that they make and enforce better law.

I am hopeful that all citizens will remind their public servants of this.

Why You should address your oath breaking politicians

Or Why you as a politician should obey your oath Or It’s not politically expedient to permit your constituents to be murdered.  Note that this and most of my posts are Creative Commons so take them and do good things. I wrote them and that’s what I wanted to do.

Our politicians largely lack character. They don’t honor their oath of office. They pass laws that infringe on our rights. These laws will impact us, our children, and our grandchildren.

If this disturbs you, and it should, let your politicians know that they should honor their oath of office and fix the damage they have done, then focus on our future.  We don’t know what our grandchildren may need. Perhaps the world will be a place where they need to defend themselves and their children for every inch of space from predators and evildoers.  I hope not.

For example, picture it’s fifty years from now your great granddaughter is unable to carry a firearm due to some inane reason mandated by oath breaking politicians.  Leaving a library late one night, she is attacked, raped and murdered. If she had a firearm and training, she may have survived. This may take place in fifty years or it could take place to someones great granddaughter or great grandson tonight. It could happen to you. I’m not saying you have to carry a firearm, but if you are inclined to, our founding fathers said the right to keep and bear arms shall not be abridged and they meant it. Your human right of self defense comes from God. I am also certain your  mother would want you to defend yourself.

Politicians are our servants. They are not our king. We don’t do kings in our Republic by the people for the people.

Tell your politicians to honor their oath of office.  Thank you.

Let freedom ring! God Bless America.

Character is Not Partisan

Character is not Partisan

The matter of character is not a partisan matter. My Grandfather got in trouble with the powers that be for hanging a sign promoting Al Smith for President over a major intersection in his political subdivision. Later in his career he introduced me to Tip O’Neil. Like President Ronald Reagan, my Grandfather and Tip O’Neil were men of character.

One aspect of character is that you follow your oath and do what you believe is the right thing, even if it’s not popular.  The oath of office of the politicians in our great country seems to not be taken seriously by our present political leaders.

Our nation by the people, for the people was created by our founding fathers noting our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and with the right to keep and bear arms a central right of the people protected by our founding fathers. Section I of the Constitution of California states “All people are by nature free and independent and have inalienable rights. Among these are enjoying and defending life and liberty, acquiring, possessing, and protecting property, and pursuing and obtaining safety, happiness, and privacy.”

Just think of what would have happened on September 11, 2001 if American Citizens carrying firearms loaded with frangible bullets were aboard the aircraft. Likely nothing would have happened instead of what did happen.

Evil will always be around.  It’s our right to protect ourselves from evil as best we are able. As our political leaders make and change law, we should remind them to keep their laws away from our right to keep and bear arms.

A Nation without Character

What happened to political character? A strong basis for political character includes doing the right thing even if it’s unpopular. We now seem to have a country without such character. Without character, politicians and bureaucrats run amok: Politicians disregard their oath of office, not protecting our right to keep and bear arms. Bureaucrats charge a man who innocently picked up an eagle feather with a felony. Bureaucrats in Philadelphia work to seize the home of a couple whose son ran afoul of drug laws.  Our commander in chief doesn’t go to the mat for a decorated marine who inadvertently drove into Mexico with his firearms.

It seems that we as Americans deserve better. Perhaps we are living in Heinleins ‘Crazy Years’. Much of what he postulated has come true in one way or another. When politicians legislate, they should think of the rights they want their grandchildren to have and the impact of the laws on those rights and freedoms instead of what is politically expedient for them today.

We should encourage our politicians and bureaucrats to show character or vote them out of office. Replacing them may be difficult as people with character may not wish to become embroiled with a broken system; however we need thinkers with character and knowledge of our countries history to determine what is right and in the best interest of our present and future citizens.

More on Self Defense

People frequently object to the concept. Well,  that is there prerogative, but please don’t be evil and prevent another of us present or future from defending their selves. Please be good and not evil.

We are all people in a nation under God.
God does love you and wish you to defend your self from rape and murder.

The 2nd amendment protects that right.

God bless America, please.

Self defense in urban environments

When in a densely urban environment where there is no good backstop for defense, some consideration might be given in advance for proper ammunition so a not to have unintended consequences.

Generally hollow point ammunition is used for everyday carry. Frangible ammunition is used for tight spaces like aircraft.

For smaller persons, they may wish to choose between 9mm and 38 special. Best to practice at a range to determine your preference.

God bless America, please
